Can My Kids Play Airsoft Or Do Theh Have To Be Accompanied By Guardians?
Ahh..the age old question of is my kid ready for airsoft games or should I accompany them to a airsoft game?
Just like any outdoor sport, there are certains restrictions to who can play what game. Ideally most games restrict the age at 18 years for legal reasons, but most friendly places have them setup for 13 with a gurdian or parent present at all times.
Similarly as with anything that worries ‘how old’, the inquiry is pivoted for the most part on development more so than any arbitary number, I’ve met multi year olds that I would be upbeat to give an airsoft firearm to and multi year olds I wouldn’t let close to one. Regardless of whether airsoft weapons are ‘toys’ despite everything they take after guns and are very equipped for prompting permanant wounds (to eyes and teeth), so in my mind it’s an issue of whether the individual can treat them with the regard they merit.
